What About the Animals in Haiti?

Relief organizations around the world are rushing to help Haitiin the aftermath of a  devastating earthquake. Even the human death and injury toll is unknown so far, much less the count of domestic and farm animals.

Many animal lovers are eager to donate to the recovery efforts for Haiti’s animals, but the focus in the first few days will be on human survivors.
